Meet Dr. Barry

      Dr.Barry is a graduate of the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic where he received his Doctoral Degree in Chiropractic. He completed his doctoral thesis and had post graduate training in Manipulation Under Anesthesia.  In addition to studying Chiropractic, he also obtained a Master of Science Degree in Human Nutrition and Clinical Metabolism from the University of Bridgeport Nutrition Institute. His graduate thesis work includes chromium picolinate for the enhancement of glucose utilization in type II diabetic patients. Dr. Barry earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiology and Neurobiology from the University of Connecticut.

      He has studied nutrition and metabolism extensively and received post-graduate training and certification in Personalized Metabolic Nutrition and Metabolic Typing. He is Board Certified in Clinical Nutrition through the National Certification Board of Clinical Nutritionists and a member of the International and American Associations of Clinical Nutrition.

      Dr. Barry has studied Acupuncture extensively and received post-graduate training and certification in Orthopedic Acupuncture. He earned his Fellowship and Diplomate in Acupuncture through the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture in conjunction with New York Chiropractic College and Logan College  of Chiropractic.

      Dr. Barry is faculty of Briarwood College where he serves as the Director, Lecturer, and Clinical Instructor for the Post-Graduate Acupuncture Certification Program for Physicians.  He is the Founder and Clinical Director of Chiropractic, Acupuncture & Nutrition Health Care Center of Hamden, LLC and
